How did I create a brand?
I created a logo and brand design for Curiosity Clothing; this included typography and a colour palette which could be applied to the website and social media.
I was inspired by the link between cats and curiosity, as well as the Triskele symbol. The logo needed to be recognisable and hint at mysticism, as many of the products and designs are based around alternative fashion themes.
The Triskele’s creation dates back to the Neolithic era, as it can be seen at the entrance of Newgrange, Ireland. It is believed to represent a tale of forward motion to reach understanding, rewarding those who are curious.

Creating an e-commerce & drop-shipping website
I designed and built an e-commerce website using WordPress and WooCommerce, with Stripe as the payment gateway. This was a very cost-effective solution, which allows for complete customisation and secure payments.
A scrolling header on the website allows for different products and offers to be showcased and grabs attention immediately. Customers can sort items by category, such as skirts or t-shirts, and by price. WooCommerce also allows for cross-selling and up-selling, so customers can see other products they may be interested in.
The website is linked to Google Analytics and set up for e-commerce tracking for complete transparency over where sales are coming from.
The site is integrated with two drop-shipping services, depending on the products, so customers can place their order and pay securely. The order then automatically goes through to the printer, where it can either automatically go through or be checked and approved (this is recommended) before being printed and shipped to the customer.
